What I Do
Coaching Solutions Thoughtfully Tailored for Every Personal and Professional Need
But First… What is Coaching?
At its core, coaching is all about evoking awareness, sparking connections and creating a safe space for you to explore yourself in the context of whatever subject or issue you are looking to progress on.
Coaching is a collaborative process of nurturing your own inherent motivation for positive change and is grounded in asking the questions that we rarely ask ourselves, all in pursuit of helping you unlock the answers and solutions that already lie within.
In coaching, the coach and client are two equals - partners, if you will - who are working together through a creative process that helps the client maximize their personal and professional potential.
A business coach, like myself, believes in the potential of people, and looks to empower my clients to focus on the future possibilities - not past mistakes.
You can read more about my own philosophies on what coaching is (and what it’s not!) over here.
Coaching Solutions I Offer
To ensure the most impactful and effective results, I offer my clients fully customizable 1-on-1 coaching packages that are thoughtfully tailored to meet their individual needs.
Using convenient, accessible platforms like Zoom, Skype and FaceTime, I rely on proven methodology from my International Coaching Federation (ICF) training to build sessions that have an immediate impact and deliver true value.
The coaching solutions I offer typically fall under two categories: Personal and Professional.
(Although, it is not uncommon for a client to be looking to progress on something that tends to fall under both somehow).
Here are just a few of the types of spotlight topics I have experience creating coaching sessions and packages around:
Personal Coaching
Strengthening your self-confidence and self-worth: practicing mindfulness, building a positive outlook from the ground up, resisting comparing yourself to others, adopting a healthier lifestyle at home and at work, learning to be actively compassionate.
Setting boundaries in your personal and professional life: building a tolerance for saying “no,” finding balance, putting yourself first, developing productive routines, making self-care a priority, learning how to be direct.
Creating a personal, value-driven mission statement: identifying your core values, exploring personal successes, goal-setting (short-term and long-term), discovering what’s actually important to you, taking control of your legacy.
Managing difficult people and situations: strategies for effective conflict resolution, understanding different personality types, active listening, exploring the motivations and perspectives of others, acknowledging feelings during conflict, the art of compromise.
Cultivating positivity across your life: actively deciding how to feel, embracing the “bright side,” developing healthy and productive habits, defining happiness, surrounding yourself with positive influences, the power of language, choosing the glass half full mentality.
Professional Coaching
Developing your leadership abilities: learning how to think strategically, planning and delivery, building an effective approach to people management, honing your communication skills, understanding the power of change management.
Building a realistic career roadmap: setting long-term goals, how to evaluate knowledge and experience gaps, techniques for effective networking, balancing continuing education at work, rising to new challenges, taking professional risks, managing professional “roadblocks and detours.”
Developing a leadership style: modeling the traits and habits of effective leaders, understanding the different leadership styles and their benefits, learning how to influence others, managing conflict within your team or organization.
Finding a work/life balance: defining boundaries and setting expectations, developing a “give/take” tolerance level at work, how to avoid “work first” mentality, understanding burnout and its impact, discovering your passions away from work.
Adapting to remote work as a leader: how to keep your team engaged and motivated, building collaborative working relationships online, understanding the benefits/strains that remote work causes, building strategies to achieve maximum results remotely, managing conflict remotely.
Leading others through change: adapting to a new role or team, strategies to manage a career transition, learning to adapt to a new leader or manager, recognizing how different types of change impact others, building a realistic and effective change management approach, understanding how to embrace (not fear) change.
